Week 14 National Football League Bets

December 8th, 2011 No comments

It’s time for Week 14 of the National Football LEague season. Wow! Can you believe how fast the season has gone thus far. After this weekend, there are just three weeks left in the regular season. The playoff picture is anything but clear at this point, with alot still on the line in both the AFC and the NFC. Here are our top bets for Week 14 of the National Football League season:

Houston Texans +3 @ Cincinnati Bengals

The AFC South leading Texans will take on the Cincinnati Bengals. The Texans need just two wins in their final four games to win the division. Houston is coming off a huge win over the Falcons. For Cincinnati, they have fallen a bit from their 6-2 start. The Bengals have lost three out of their last four and dropped to a tie in the wildcard standings out of the AFC. We know Houston is without Schaub and Johnson, but being underdogs is a stretch. We like the Texans defense so much in this one. Houston’s defense is one of the best in the league. We are betting the Houston Texans +3 over the Cincinnati Bengals.

Philadelphia Eagles +3 @ Miami Dolphins

Another underdog pick is the Phildelphia Eagles +3 over the Miami Dolphins. The Eagles have struggled, and are 4-8, but they are getting Michael Vick back. Miami has won four out of their last five, and feel like it should be five straight. Their only loss during that time came at the buzzer to the Cowboys. We like the Eagles athleticism in this game. We are betting the Philadelphia Eagles +3 over the Miami Dolphins.

Atlanta Falcons -3 @ Carolina Panthers

Out of the NFC South, we like Atlanta to bounce back and get a need they win. The Falcons are tied with the Lions and Bears for the NFC wildcard position. Atlanta scored just 10 points last week; look for them to get back at it offensively this week. The Falcons defense will also have answers for the Carolina offense. We are betting Atlanta -3 over Carolina.

San Francisco 49ers -3.5 @ Arizona Cardinals

The NFC West champion San Francisco 49ers will head to Arizona to battle the Cardinals. San Francisco has just two losses on the season, and lead New Orleans by a game for the second seed in the NFC. The 49ers beat the Cardinals a couple weeks ago, at home. We feel San Francisco is just that much better than Arizona, despite the Cardinals recent hot streak. We are betting San Francicso -3.5 over Arizona.

Oakland Raiders @ Green Bay Packers -11

Our final game is the Raiders at the Packers. There is not much we need to say here, besides the Packers are going to roll. Sure, Oakland is in first place, but this game is at Lambeau. Green Bay dominates in this game. Take the Packers -11 over the Raiders.

As you can see there are several close games, that we like for this week. These are some tough games, but we are pretty confident in them, and certainly our top five picks. Enjoy Week 14 of the National Football League season!

Week 13: SNF + MNF

December 3rd, 2011 No comments

The two most watched games of the week come on Sunday Night and Monday Night. Two of the four teams playing are above .500 and contending for a playoff spot. Those two meet each other on the field Sunday Night. Here are the Sunday Night Football and Monday Night Football match-ups for week 13 of the National Football League season.

Detroit Lions @ New Orleans Saints -9

Jim Schwartz and the Detroit Lions could be in trouble. The schedule does not exactly favor them in the final weeks of the season. The Lions looked poor in their loss to the Packers on Thanksgiving Day. Detroit’s offense has been too sporadic this season. For New Orleans, they would like to chase down the San Francisco 49ers and garner that second seed in the NFC. The Saints are just a game behind the 49ers. Also, New Orleans needs a win in this one to make sure they stay ahead of Atlanta in the division. The Falcons are beginning to play some of the best football in the league, so the Saints may be in for a tight race in the end. We feel like the New Orleans Saints are going to win this game, and win it going away. New Orleans is so much better at home than they are on the road. We are betting Saints -9 over Detroit in this one. Take the Saints!

San Diego Chargers -2.5 over Jacksonville Jaguars

Two teams that are out of the race will get together in Jacksonville. Norv Turner, the Chargers head coach is all but on his way out of town, while Jacksonville just recently fired veteran head coach Jack Del Rio. The Jaguars are in third place in the AFC South, and only because of the winless Colts. For the Chargers, they have lost six games, and dropped to last place in the AFC West. Phillip Rivers and the Chargers offense have been unable to take care of the football long enough to be an effective offensive team. The Jaguars are the second lowest scoring team in all of the league. Thankfully for the Rams, Jacksonville is not buried at the bottom. This game is going to be close through most of the game. The Chargers do not seem to have the ability to blow another team out. In the end, despite being on the road, we feel the athleticism of the San Diego Chargers will pull through. We are betting San Diego -3 over Jacksonville in this one on Monday Night Football.

Well, there are our picks. We like both of these picks alot. We feel like we are going to have a huge week of NFL betting. It is not easy, but when you start getting the hang of it, it can be profitable. Enjoy the week 13 action on the field. We are excited for it, and cannot wait to start giving you our week 14 picks!

NFL Betting: Week 13

December 1st, 2011 No comments

Wow! There are just five weeks of regular season football left. This season has flew by. We have enjoyed giving you our best bets for all of the National Football League up to this point, and will continue all the way through the Super Bowl. Here are a few of our favorite bets for Week 13:

Oakland Raiders +3 @ Miami Dolphins

The Oakland Raiders heading all the way to South Florida may be a troublesome game. But, this time of year, we feel playoff teams are able to go on the road, and win against a lesser team. We feel the Raiders are THE playoff team out of the AFC West, so this is a game they MUST and WILL win. The Raiders are a field goal underdog. We like that, and also Oakland to win the game outright. Bet Oakland +3.

Atlanta Falcons -1.5 @ Houston Texans

These are both teams we have been loving on all season long. You’d find us hard pressed to bet against either one of these teams. We feel what Houston is doing without several of their key guys is very impressive. They are going to win the AFC South. Atlanta is a team that can compete with anyone, when they are on top of their game. In this game, we feel the Houston quarterback problem is going to be a major problem. We are betting the Atlanta Falcons -1.5 on the road, at Houston.

Tennessee Titans +1 @ Buffalo Bills

Tennessee is another team that must go on the road and win the game. The game is at Buffalo, and the Bills are all but dead. Buffalo has not played very well the last several weeks. If Tennessee can get a win here, they have a shot at being tied for the wildcard spot in the AFC. Look for them to play very determined. We like Tennessee as a single point underdog at Buffalo. Bet Tennessee +1.

Kansas City Chiefs @ Chicago Bears -7

The Kansas City Chiefs are playing their third straight tough game. A blow-out loss at New England, a home loss to Pittsburgh; and now out to Chicago. The Bears will be better this week than they were last week at Oakland. The Bears will give the ball to Matt Forte, and win this game. A touchdown favorite? Not enough! The Bears win this game and cover the spread. Chicago -7 is our pick.

New York Jets -3 @ Washington Redskins

Our final game is a third AFC team that needs to go on the road and win. And for the third time, we feel they will. We like Rex Ryan and the New York Jets to continue their winning ways and go to D.C. and come away with a win. The Jets are a field goal favorite, we feel New York will win by 4. Bet the Jets -3 over the Redskins.

Well, there you have it. Certainly not guaranteed winners, but games we like alot and will be betting on come Sunday. Enjoy the action, and we look forward to next week!

Week 12 – Sunday NFL Betting

November 26th, 2011 No comments

We are getting ready for Week 12 of the National Football League. We had a nice Thanksgiving Day, and hope to continue it with some domination over the weekend. The schedule looks great, and we feel we have some great games on tap to bet on. Here are our National Football League picks for Week 12!

Minnesota Vikings @ Atlanta Falcons -9.5

The Minnesota Vikings go south to Atlanta. With Adrian Peterson doubtful for the game, it appears the Vikings are going to have a tough time. Atlanta is primed and ready to make their second half run, and head into the postseason on fire. Look for Atlanta to pull off a double digit win in this game, and keep Minnesota struggling.

Houston Texans -6 @ Jacksonville Jaguars

The Houston Texans are playing their first game without Matt Schaub. Matt Leinart will come into the game as the starting, but look for him to do just fine. His top weapon; Andre Johnson is back. Look for Arian Foster to get a bunch of carries early and lead the way for Houston. We are picking another double digit win; this time for the Houston Texans over the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers @ Tennessee Titans -3.5

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers head to Nashville to take on the Tennessee Titans. Tampa Bay has been struggling, and another loss would pretty much eliminate them from any postseason chances. Tennessee is in big need of a win as well, as they are 5-5 overall. Look for Chris Johnson to have a big game, which is something he has not been doing alot of this season. We are betting the Tennessee Titans -3.5 over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Arizona Cardinals @ St. Louis Rams -1.5

Wow. How do you bet on this game? Both of these teams are bad, and heading no where. In saying that, we love this bet. Arizona coming to the Midwest to take on the Rams means one thing – St. Louis wins. Sure, the Rams do not score a bunch of points, but they do enough to win this game by at least a field goal. Our bet here is the St. Louis Rams -1.5 over the Arizona Cardinals.

Cleveland Browns @ Cincinnati Bengals -7.5

The final game we like is the battle of Ohio. The Cleveland Browns at 4-6 will take ont he Cincinnati Bengals, who are 6-4. The Bengals are battling for a postseason spot, while Cleveland would love to spoilt that chance. Cincinnati looks for blood in this game, as the Ravens and Steelers just took turns beating the Bengals. Cincinnati battles back and wins this game by double digits over the Cleveland Browns.

Best of luck with all your National Football League betting. No matter what teams you are betting on for this weekend, be sure to enjoy the action ont he field. The season is flying by, and before you know it, you will be begging for football to return!

Thanksgiving Day 2011: Betting

November 23rd, 2011 No comments

Thanksgiving is here! What a wonderful day for family and fun. This year, the Thanksgiving 2011 games in the National Football League are excellent. A ton is on the line for these games, including an unbeaten season. The night cap features a pair of brothers as head coaches, so tons of storylines will be in place there. Here are our Thanksgiving Day 2011 National Football League bets:

Green Bay Packers -6 @ Detroit Lions

These two NFC North teams have both gotten off to great starts. The Packers are of course 1-0, while Detroit comes into the game with a 7-3 record. Green Bay is coming off a win over Tampa Bay, in which the Buccaneers hung around for a little while. Detroit last week, trailed 24-7, but came back with 49 points to beat the Panthers. These two teams are meeting for the first time this season. We feel Aaron Rodgers is going to be at the top of his game, with the world looking in at him again. We are going to bet the Green Bay Packers -6 over the Detroit Lions on Thursday afternoon.

Miami Dolphins  @ Dallas Cowboys -7

The Miami Dolphins have won three in a row. Sure, they are not heading to the postseason, but they could be a damper in the Cowboys chances here. Miami is being underlooked, but we still feel the Cowboys will be hungry on Thanksgiving Day. Dallas is tied with the Giants, and could put an early statement with a win on Thursday. Look for another quarterback to take over this game. Tony Romo has a big day, much like Aaron Rodgers, and the Cowboys win. Bet the Dallas Cowboys -7 over the Miami Dolphins.

San Francisco 49ers @ Baltimore Ravens -3.5

The final game of the night may be the best overall game. The 9-1 San Francisco 49ers will take on the 7-3 Baltimore Ravens. The two Harbaugh brothers will get together on Thanksgiving Day. The 49ers are once again going out East; which they have done numerous times this season. San Francisco has been great on the road, at home, wherever they have played. The 49ers are just a couple plays away from being unbeaten. Baltimore has been up and down, but much better at home. Look for the Ravens to look sharp on both sides of the ball. In the end, the 49ers will have a tough time scoring enough to stay with the Ravens. We are betting the Baltimore Ravens -3.5 over the San Francisco 49ers on Thursday night.

We think this is going to be a very good week of NFL betting. These three are all good games, as five of the six teams playing looking to be heading towards the postseason. We will be back on Saturday to give you our Saturday winners for Week 12 of the National Football League.

SNF + MNF for Week 11

November 20th, 2011 No comments

Once the Sunday afternoon games are complete, do not even think about calling it quits for the NFL in week 11. Two of the best games of the week will be played on National TV Sunday Night and then again Monday Night. Both games come in with question marks for the game, and there are plenty of playoff implications regarding all four teams playing in the game. The Sunday Night Football game and Monday Night Football game feature the Philadelphia Eagles at New York Giants, and then the Kansas City Chiefs at the New England Patriots. Here are our bets for week 11:

Philadelphia Eagles +5.5 @ New York Giants

The Philadelphia Eagles are in a must win game. The Eagles are 3-6 and three games behind the Giants for first place in the division. Once dubbed the Dream Team, with a loss in week 11, and Philadelphia will all but be eliminated. The Eagles are banged up. Michael Vick is not going to play, and neither is Jeremy Maclin. Therefore LeSean McCoy is going to have to have a huge game for the Eagles. Vince Young will be the starting quarterback, but look for him to hand off more than he does throw. The Eagles strength is running the football, and that’s what they will do. Unfortunately, the Giants will have a tough time slowing down the Eagles run game. New York is coming off a loss to San Francisco, where the 49ers were able to move the ball when they needed to. With a Giants loss and a Cowboys win, those two teams will be tied at the top of the division. That is what we think will happen. In an upset, we are picking the Philadelphia Eagles +5.5 over the New York Giants.

Kansas City Chiefs @ New England Patriots -15

This is an ugly looking Monday Night Football game. When the schedule makers put this together, it was a great battle with Matt Cassell coming back against his former team. Now, Cassell is out for the season, and the youngster Tyler Palko is in. The Chiefs are in complete turmoil, as they are 4-5 on the season. Kansas City has to win this game to stay within a game or maybe tie the Raiders at the top of the division. The Chiefs are having a horrible time moving the football, and have a ton of key injuries. We cannot seem to think there will be any other bet in this game other than the New England Patriots -15 over the Kansas City Chiefs. The Patriots can score points, and score them fast. Look for them to blow the Chiefs out in this game and move to 7-3 and keep their lead in the AFC East.

Wow. This week should be fun! There will be a ton on the line Sunday night, and then anytime you get the Patriots on national TV, you are in for a treat. Whoever you are betting on, or even if you are not betting, enjoy the week 11 of the National Football League.

NFL Week 11 Betting

November 18th, 2011 No comments

What an exciting time in the National Football Leagues. The postseason berths are heating up, as teams are trying to make late efforts to get in. Week 11 brings a bunch of great games once again, with some excellent betting odds on them. We have looked at all the games, and here are our favorite bets for Week 11:

Carolina Panthers @ Detroit Lions -7

The first game we like is the Detroit Lions -7 over the Carolina Panthers. The Lions will be working with a banged up quarterback, but still will put a thumping on the Panthers. Detroit’s defense is rough and tough, and will put a hurting on the young Panthers offense. Cam Newton has had a great season, but in this one, he will show that he is still a rookie. We are betting the Detroit Lions -7 over the Carolina Panthers in this game.

Dallas Cowboys @ Washington Redskins +7.5

Out of the NFC East, the Dallas Cowboys and Washington Redskins will get together. The Cowboys are just a game behind the Giants for first place in the division. Washington has seen a huge rough spot, as they have dropped five straight games. Look for Dallas to come away with the win in this game, but Washington keeps the game close. We are betting the Washington Redskins +7.5 over the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday.

Jacksonville Jaguars @ Cleveland Browns -1

The Jacksonville Jaguars and Cleveland Browns will play in a battle of teams that are 3-6 on the season. Neither team has put up great offensive numbers, but we look for Colt McCoy to have a nice day in this one. Our money is on the Cleveland Browns, who are playing at home.

Tennessee Titans @ Atlanta Falcons -6

The Tennessee Titans could really use a win, to move within a single game of the Houston Texans. The Titans are 1.5 games back, and Houston is in their bye week. The Titans have a big week last week, winning; and finally getting Chris Johnson going. Unfortunately, they are going to go up against a very hungry Falcons team. Atlanta is seeking to come back from their loss in overtime to New Orleans. We think Atlanta will roll in this one. We are betting Atlanta -6 over Tennessee.

Buffalo Bills @ Miami Dolphins -1

Out of the AFC East, the Buffalo Bills are struggling. Miami has started to play a little better; with two straight wins. The Bills just do not seem to be the same team they were earlier in the season. Tony Sparano has quieted his critics a bit with a couple wins. Look for Miami to use the home field advantage, and the fact Buffalo is scuffling to win this game. We are betting Miami -1 over Buffalo.

Enjoy the weekend of football. Whether you are betting these games or not, they are certain to be exciting on the field. Best of luck with all your National Football League betting. We hope you bring home some big money over the weekend!

Sunday Night and Monday Night Football Betting

November 13th, 2011 No comments

Let’s take a look at the Sunday Night Footballa nd Monday Night Football games for week 10. We are excited for both of these games, and we feel both of them are going to be winners. Here are our picks for the games, enjoy your weekend of football!

New England Patriots -1.5 over New York Jets

This should be alot of fun. These two coaches hate each other, and the teams hate each other as well. The Patriots, led by Tom Brady are looking to avoid falling for the third straight time. The Patriots and Jets are both tied as the AFC East leaders. The Jets struggled on the road earlier in the year, but after their big win on the road at Buffalo last week, they seem to be on the right track. This game will be back and forth all night long. Both of these teams are going to be very hungry and come away with a win. We feel the Patriots offense is going to be the biggest key for this game. We are going to bet the New England Patriots -1.5 over the New York Jets on Sunday Night. With the win over the Jets, the Patriots will finish the season sweep over their most hated rivals.

Minnesota Vikings @ Green Bay Packers -13

This game has the big time potential to be extremely ugly. The Minnesota Vikings are heading to Green Bay to take on the Packers. The Vikings have played a little bit better, but still have a tough time scoring points. The Vikings defense is going to have to come up strong to slow down the top offense in all of the NFL. Lookf or Aaron Rodgers and the Packers to have a strong game. Green Bay is half way to an unbeaten season, and we do not expect that to come close to ending on Sunday. Adrian Peterson will go pretty silent after Green Bay takes a big lead in this game. Our bet for this game is the Green Bay Packers -13 over the Minnesota Vikings.

There you have it. It should be a fun weekend of National Football League action. We are excited to see how these games go, and hope we can provide you some winning bets for the two big games.

Following this game, we expect the divisional leaders to look like this: Patriots, Ravens, Texans and Raiders/Chiefs. And in the NFC, Packers, Giants, 49ers and Falcons. We feel the wildcard leaders will be: Pittsburgh, Jets/Bengals from the AFC and Bears and Lions from the NFC.

Be sure to check back in the middle of next week, so we can talk about the results from week 10, and then discuss the week 11 games. We expect the last several weeks to be very exciting, and full of some excellent match-ups. These games are those you will not want to miss. Best of luck with all your NFL betting!

Betting National Football League: Week 10

November 11th, 2011 No comments

It’s time for week 10 in the National Football League season. There are a ton of great divisional battles set for week 10. Many of the games will have something on the line as far as postseason picture is concerned. Here are a few of our best bets for week 10:

Denver Broncos +3.5 @ Kansas City Chiefs

Two AFC West teams will get together in Kansas City on Sunday afternoon. The Denver Broncos are just a game behind the Chiefs, Chargers and Raiders in the division. The Broncos have played better with Tebow at the helm. Kansas City is coming off a bad loss to Miami last week. We feel Tebow will keep up the strong play, and come away with a win over the Chiefs. We are betting Denver +3.5 over Kansas City on Sunday.

Buffalo Bills @ Dallas Cowboys -5.5

The Buffalo Bills have had a nice season, but look for things to change in Dallas. The Cowboys are coming off a win, and look to be heading back the right direction. The Bills struggled in a loss to the Jets. We look for more of that to continue in the Big D. Look for Tony Romo to have a big day, despite missing Miles Austin. We are betting the Dallas Cowboys -5.5 over the Buffalo Bills.

St. Louis Rams @ Cleveland Browns -2.5

Two teams that are not heading to the playoffs will get together in Cleveland. The St. Louis Rams are 1-7 and last place in the NFC West. Cleveland comes into the game with a 3-5 record, and last place in the AFC North. Look for St. Louis to continue having offensive problems in this game. The Browns come away with a win and come a game closer to .500. We are betting Cleveland -2.5 over St. Louis.

Houston Texans @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers +3.5

The high powered offense of Houston will head to Tampa Bay on Sunday. The Houston running game has been a big story, with the absence of Andre Johnson. Tampa Bay is seeking ways to get back in the win column. A loss in this game would send the Buccaneers below .500, and in trouble for postseason berth. We like Tampa Bay as the underdog in this game. We are betting Buccaneers +3.5 over Houston at home.

New York Giants +3.5 @ San Francisco 49ers

Our final game is a huge NFC game. With a win over the 49ers, the Giants could take over the second seed in the NFC. That would mean a first round bye, and a second round home game. The Giants are coming off their win over New England. The 49ers are 7-1, and five games up in the NFC West. Look for the Giants talent to come to play in this one, and New York comes away with a win on the West Coast. We are betting New York +3.5 over San Francisco.

Best of luck with all your National Football League betting. We have given you some games that we feel will be winners. Take whichever games you want, and enjoy the action. We’ll be back with the Sunday Night and Monday Night Football picks later in the week!

NFL Week 9 Bets

November 4th, 2011 No comments

This should be another great week in the National Football League.  We are excited for these games, and feel they are some winnable games in the betting world. We are here to give you some of the best bets of week 9:

Miami Dolphins @ Kansas City Chiefs -4

Our first game features the winless Miami Dolphins on the road in Kansas City. The Chiefs are 4-3 on the season, and have won four straight games. Miami is desperate for a need, after two tight losses the last two weeks. The Dolphins play out of the AFC East, while Kansas City is tied in first in the AFC West. The Chiefs haven’t been great, but getting much better. The Chiefs are going to win this game, and do it with ease. We are betting the Kansas City Chiefs -4 over Miami Dolphins.

Atlanta Falcons -7 @ Indianapolis Colts

The Atlanta Falcons are the next team that gets to blowout the Indianapolis Colts. Indianapolis has been awful, and that will continue at home on Sunday. Atlanta is in need of a win, to keep pace in the ultra tough NFC South. We feel that Matt Ryan and Michael Turner are going to have sensational games in this one. Our bet for this game is the Atlanta Falcons -7 over the Indianapolis Colts.

New York Jets @ Buffalo Bills -1

A pair of AFC East teams will get together at Ralph Wilson Stadium in Buffalo. The New York Jets will take on the Buffalo Bills. The Jets need a win to move into a tie with Buffalo, while New England is also a game ahead. The Jets have been poor on the road, while Buffalo appears to be a better team at home. We are going to take the home team; Buffalo Bills -1 over the New York Jets on Sunday.

St. Louis Rams +1 @ Arizona Cardinals

The St. Louis Rams should have Sam Bradford back, while Kevin Kolb will most likely not play for Arizona. These two teams are playing to avoid moving to the bottom of the NFC West. St. Louis is coming off the big win over New Orleans. We look for that to play a part in this game. Arizona will lose their seventh straight game. We are taking St. Louis as the underdog.

Baltimore Ravens @ Pittsburgh Steelers -3

The big game on Sunday Night features two teams from the AFC North. In week one, the Ravens smoked Pittsburgh at home. This time, it will be a different story. The Steelers have won four in a row and have a 1/2 game lead on the Ravens and Bengals. Look for Pittsburgh’s defense to shine in this game, while the Ravens have a tough time slowing down Big Ben and the Pittsburgh offense. We feel the Steelers will beat the Ravens by more than a field goal. Bet Pittsburgh -3.

Best of luck with all your National Football League betting. We hope you find some wins over the weekend, and enjoy the action on the field. Best of luck!
