2010 Preseason Week 4: Thursday Picks

September 2nd, 2010
We’re back for some week 4 action.  Get your sports betting bankroll beefed up before the regular season begins and hit a few of our pre-season NFL picks below.
Our first pick is the Arizona Cardinals -5.5 vs. the Washington Redskins.  Donavon McNabb is out for this last preseason game and that makes the Redskins a bad team.  Backup Rex Grossman is expected to sit as well.  As for the Arizona Cardinals, we’ve been hearing all about the quarterback controversy in the news over the last week.  Don’t think for one second that both Derek Anderson and Matt Leinart aren’t going to want to prove something tonight.  Both should be firing away and trying to further solidify their spot on the QB depth chart.  We see Arizona running away with this one by double digits.

The second pick of the night is the Miami Dolphins -1 @ the Dallas Cowboys.  We failed last week on the Dolphins and we are going to give them a shot again.  Tony Spurano, Dolphins head coach, was pissed after their week 3 preseason performance.  He is expecting focus and a win out of the Dolphins tonight and expect him to play his starters accordingly  On the Cowboys side we expect them to just cruise through and get ready for week 1 in the regular season.

Our third and final pick of the week 3 preseason is the Pittsburgh Steelers -6.5 vs. the Carolina Panthers.  The Steelers have the luxury of playing probowl quarterback Ben Roethlisberger deep into this game as he is suspended the first four weeks of the regular season.  The Panthers will be resting players and likely will play the 3rd and 4th string QB’s tonight.  The public loves the Steelers -6.5 and we do to.
